Make a dedicated iPhone or Mobile version of your blog for free !

Hello Humanoids , I was just going through various websites and i read it somewhere that 10 % ( correct me if i am wrong )of the smart phones market has been captured by the iPhones , and this is huge . So i wondered how i could have an iPhone version of my blog , and this website couldn't have been better .

Mofuse : Mofuse is a website that mobilises your blog / website on a .mobi domain . MoFuse gives content publishers, like bloggers, the ability to publish their content to the mobile web. You don't have to be a content publisher to use MoFuse though, anyone can create a mobile website in just a few minutes using the intuitive MoFuse platform.

Making your blog / website into  a mobile compatible version is very easy .

  • Just  go to the homepage  , see the mobilize now window , add your site url and click on mobilize it  mobilize it !

  • Then keep following the steps and you shall have your own mobile version of it ;)

So what features do we get :

See , once you get the mobile domain done , you can get options like :

  • Custom Domain
  • Designing or coloring your mobile blog
  • Making a logo for the blog
  • Editing home page , adding links , adding pages
  • Comment widgets
  • Click to call  , sms widget , click to call ,etc
  • You also get to know the stats of your blog , this is great since you get to know how many people actually read the mobile version of your blog !

If you are using a custom domain , then great news my friend !  This is how you can creat a subdomain :

  • In order to use a custom domain with your MoFuse mobile site you will need to be able to add a CNAME entry into your DNS.
  • Make a CNAME entry in your DNS and point it to: your-mofuse-address.mofuse.mobi
Note: It make take up to 48 hours for your DNS to make the changes , but in my case it happened in matter of seconds .

Hope you did enjoy reading this article , and i  shall write a seperate post if i make a mobile version of my blog .

Take  Care,
